The palate is powerful, concentrated, and full-bodied, with a long finish and a silky tannin profile. A 2023 review notes the wine retains a purple hue, fresh, bold bouquet of forest-floor/mint and dried-herb, and deep-set cassis fruit. It's considered a magnificent wine, well-suited for aging.
