This wine is made entirely from Oseleta, a rediscovered indigenous grape known for its deep colour and firm tannins. In the glass, it presents an intense, almost opaque ruby hue. The nose opens with powerful aromas of blackcurrant, plum, and dark cherry, interwoven with hints of licorice, clove, and dark chocolate. On the palate, it is full-bodied and bold, showing layers of ripe black fruit, spice, and earthy undertones. Tannins are muscular yet polished, balanced by a lively acidity.

Straight shooting oseleta. A fine variety, boding well for the future as the climate warms. Yet better as the spine in a blend, perhaps. A tad monochromatic, if not very firm and uber savory. High acidity and a broad swathe of tannins encase bitter cherry, licorice and dried herbs strewn across an edgy finish. A bit shins and elbows. Drink or hold.
