"von der Fels" translates to "from the rock." It is drawn from a selection of vines — among them some younger plantings — in Keller's Grosses Lagen vineyards. The aim is to produce a very dry trocken. Limestone-based with various mixtures of clay, loess, silts, stones and shells.
