Pedro Ximénez is known as the ‘King of Sherries’ for its robust and sophisticated sweet richness. Married with Kavalan’s new-make spirit, the cask produces a unique fruity and charming floral freshness with nutty characters and chocolate aromas, ending with a syrupy long finish.

Colour: Deep dark honey gold

Nose: Sweet dark caramel with hints of silky chocolate, burnt brown sugar, dark red fruits and honeycombs.

Palate: Rich dark fruitiness blended with chocolate, warm honey and sweet PX sherry characters creating both a complex and mellow finish.

Kavalan suggests enjoying this Solist cask single malt neat. It pairs well with sweet desserts, and if you enjoy a fine cigar, this is an excellent pairing.
