The wine is deep purple hue. Aromas of Blueberry, Black Cherry and Plum show a fruit driven wine of maximum complexity. Bright and vibrant. The mouth is rich and full immediately with classic Alexander Valley supple tannins. 2019 was a cooler vintage and so has great vibrancy and life.

Aromatic baking spices fill the aroma of this ripe but well-balanced wine, leading to generous black cherries, blueberries and cocoa flavors wrapped in fine-grained tannins. Notes of cedar, cinnamon and mint enhance its delicious complexity. Best from 2026–2032.
