Since its founding in 1829, Maison Bollinger has highlighted the terroir of Champagne, allowing its characteristics to be fully expressed in its wines. Through its efforts, the house has deepened its understanding of La Côte aux Enfants, an iconic vineyard in Aÿ.
Perfectly situated, this plot was patiently reassembled by Jacques Bollinger in the early 20th century, at a time when it was shared by more than fifty owners. Today, Bollinger pays tribute to this visionary spirit by launching the new 2014 vintage.
La Côte aux Enfants Champagne is a wine composed of 100% Grand Cru pinot noir, from the single La Côte aux Enfants plot. This champagne has been cellar aged with natural cork for twice as long as required by appellation. Dosage is moderate, 6 grams per litre.

A luxurious Champagne from start to finish, this is enticing, with pain d'épices, ripe fruit and mineral notes wafting on the nose, while a plush mousse caresses the palate. A skein of fragrant spices winds through a rich panoply of crème de cassis, black cherry, baked pineapple, glazed tangerine peel, toasted raisin bread and honey flavors, all shaped and well-defined by vibrant acidity.
