Distilled in 1998, this vintage has been aged for 25 years in the tropical climate of Jamaica. 19 American oak casks were selected by Joy Spence, Appleton’s Cellar Master: ‘The 1998 vintage is very special, not only because of its age and incredible depth, but also because this new vintage pays tribute to one of the most cherished qualities of my career.’ She added: ‘Hearts Collection 1998 faithfully reproduces one of the rare marks used in Appleton Estate Joy Anniversary Blend.’
